Stories and What’s Good for You

Yesterday I made a plan for myself and this morning: Wake up early. Go for a run. Waking up and going for a run would be good for me.

“Most of the things we say are so wonderful and amazing will lose without a fight to an extra hour of sleep.” – Scott Berkun, Confessions of a Public Speaker

In the morning, while still in bed, this thought comes to me: “Lukas, go for a run. It will be good for you.” I pull the blanket closer and close my eyes for a moment.

Then another thought: “It’s your last chance to run up the Rocky steps.”

I throw the blanket off, get up and put on my running gear.

It’s good to know what is good for you. For moving to action though, you might need a story.

  1. Me too)) I know what is good for me. Anyway, i can not motivate myself to do it. By the way I am perfect in motivation other people🤣
Maybe, my role in this world is to motivate by words and inspire by speach?
Long time I wish to wake up early with Sunrise. Nothing in whole world can get up me, my bed seemed like the best place in the Universe. I prayed God about motivation… And I ve got two puppies. Till this spring I walk with them day and night… But the most important is they woke me at dawn and continue to do this daily. I still think my bed is the best place in the world. but after a walk in the fresh air at dawn, my day becomes more productive. I wish everyone motivators in life!
