Squeezing a lemon?
A bit of a nuisance, but rather straightforward: Cut it in two halves. Grab one of them. Press it. Then the other one.
That how I’ve been doing it all my life. Why even think about it?
Turns out there’s an easier way. Just do one (or all) of the following:
- Roll it around on the counter before cutting it, pressing it down hard while rolling it
- Microwave it for 10-30 seconds
- Stab it multiple times with a fork into the cut side
Result: Much better! Plus, stabbing a lemon with a fork is fun.
In my quest for effective lemon squeezing it took me just a few seconds / keystrokes to get the answers.
