Superman’s Breakfast

“Are you hungry Lukas?”, Krzysiek (also known as Chris) asks me as I put my backpack on the floor of his flat – the headquarters of Toastmasters Division J: Warsaw and North-East Poland.

I’ve spent the night on a night train without a dining car – and it’s 9am already. I don’t want to be too much trouble of a guest – but hey, I don’t want to be a liar either.

“Definitely,” I give the honest answer.

“Perfect. Let’s go shopping. I’m going to make you a breakfast you’ll remember.”

My expectations are high. Besides running Toastmasters in one third of Poland while expanding with his real-estate company, Chris is also an expert on healthy lifestyle. In fact – the first time I saw his name was on the agenda of a conference in Lublin, where he was giving a workshop called: How to Become a Superman.

“This is the best breakfast I make for my guests”, Chris says as we head in the direction of the shop. “Actually, the only one. But don’t worry. It’s so good that you’ll want to eat the same thing tomorrow.”

Superman’s Breakfast

Ingredients

Coconut Oil: One of the very few things you should ever use for frying.

1/2 red onion: Antioxidant which help us e.g. fight with cancer (or prevent it).

100g of sliced smoked salmon: Salmon is tasty. Do you actually need more arguments?

Eggs: Loaded with choline, an important nutrient for the brain.

Black olives: Their oils can help lower your blood pressure.

Avocado: Loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids

Directions

Heat the coconut oil (table spoon) on a frying pan. Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes. Add the salmon. Add the eggs. Wait until the eggs are done. Get it all on the plate and add black olives. Eat it like a superman – and ideally, share with a friend.

Each time you take care about eating healthy your whole body can achieve more. All of those small things – they help you achieve more maybe by 1% every day. It might seem like nothing but if you think so just look at the following image:
